Calista's Sick

 Yesterday, Calista texted our family group saying she wasn't feeling too great... sore throat, nose bleed, and just feeling down... she took a nap and upon waking, she had a low grade fever of 99.8F as well as dried blood from her nose to her chin.  She then went soak in the tub.  When she got out, it was 100.3F.  I suggested that she call the ER and prepare to go to there.  She called and they told her that if it gets higher in the next 4 hrs, to go in and to pinch the bridge of her nose for 2 minutes.

Cody got home in the meantime.  She checked her temp, and it was 103.4F.  So, they headed to the ER.  She was sent to the maternity ward.  Her cervix was checked and it was fine (not dilated).  They checked on Baby Nathan and he was all good as well. They then observed for a couple of hours and sent her home, telling her to take acetaminophen every 4 hours; not to exceed  3000mg/day.

This morning, she texted our family group saying she was feeling much better.  Cody stayed home to take care of her 💖
