Grandma Life!

 Yesterday, Calista texted our family group saying she wasn't feeling too great... sore throat, nose bleed, and just feeling down... she took a nap and upon waking, she had a low grade fever of 99.8F as well as dried blood from her nose to her chin.  She then went soak in the tub.  When she got out, it was 100.3F.  I suggested that she call the ER and prepare to go to there.  She called and they told her that if it gets higher in the next 4 hrs, to go in and to pinch the bridge of her nose for 2 minutes. Cody got home in the meantime.  She checked her temp, and it was 103.4F.  So, they headed to the ER.  She was sent to the maternity ward.  Her cervix was checked and it was fine (not dilated).  They checked on Baby Nathan and he was all good as well. They then observed for a couple of hours and sent her home, telling her to take acetaminophen every 4 hours; not to exceed  3000mg/day. This morning, she texted our family group saying ...

Big Time News!  Both of my daughters are expecting babies this year!!!  Calista's EDD is April 20th and Ursula's EDD is August 11th! So, in other words, as of today, Calista is 29 wks and Ursula is 13 wks.  Yes, I know I'm using a lot of exclamation marks, but, it is because I'm truly excited!!! hehehe It's been 18 years since we've had a newborn in our family 😁 Can't wait to meet my grandbabies!!!💗💗 This weekend, February 10th, is Calista's baby shower.  Her fiancé's, Cody, mother, Stacy, is throwing it at their house.  Very kind of them!  Sidenote:  I love that Cody's parents love Calista!  So happy for her!  This baby will be their first grandchild as well 💕 Calista & Cody are having a boy; Nathan Wayne is his name 😍 Ursula & Hunter don't know the sex of their baby just yet.  I think in a couple of weeks, we'll know.  They have names picked out as well; but, I'm not adding them until they announce the names 😁 Cal...
